Vintage holiday recipes from the staff
Holiday memories are often tied to the treats we remember eating as children. The scent of ginger or coconut pulls us back to our grandmother’s kitchens—and sometimes beyond, to faraway times and faraway countries. If we’re lucky, some of us possess recipe cards in faded handwriting or dog-eared, flour-smeared cookbooks handed down through the family. This is certainly true for staff members at Georgetown View. Here, several of us share the family heirloom recipes that we make each holiday season.
